Paisley Rugby Club First XV, sponsored by Kilty Kilty, continued their astonishing season in a hard fought 15-5 win against Hughenden at Anchor Ground on Saturday.  The conditions were not conducive to free flowing rugby, with both sides making numerous handling errors in torrential rain.

Paisley Rugby, sponsored by Kilty Kilty, were delighted to come away from arguably the toughest fixture in the league having secured 4 valuable league points for a Victory. It's a difficult trip down to Stranrear, where Wigtownshire RFC have a formidable reputation for fielding a powerful forward pack.

It was to the Paisley Coaches great delight that number 8 David Dodd was able to rearrange his working shifts and add his experience and power to the Paisley pack facing a tough day at the office. The colleague who filled in for David last Saturday can be assured of a pint any time they visit Anchor, as the presence and all round willingness to have a go that Doddsy brings to the team made this victory possible.
