Player of the Month - September PDF Print E-mail

With Paisley starting the season in good form there were several candidates for the Player of the Month award. Neil Ritchie started the season in fine form, being a constant threat in loose play and scoring a couple of tries from prop. Steve Jermey used his boot to maximum effect controlling the pace and pattern of games and was never afraid to get stuck in when it was needed. In the last game of the month newcomer Rusty impressed with an amazing 8 tries!

Throughout the month there have been excellent performances in every area of the park making it difficult to choose stand out performers. In the end though the player who deserves to be named player of the month is ever influential former captain David Dodd. Not only did he score a barrel load of tries and demonstrate his ability as one of the best strike runners in the league, but he was one of the hardest working players in a forward pack that has been impressive in every game.
